1970s Yves Saint Laurent Studded Leather Belt

a capsule collection When you're into designers that are ahead of their time and showing collections that are highly original, you will find that only their accessories work with the clothing. True perhaps at the time and still true when you talk about designers like Issey Miyake, a stiletto Rive Gauche sandal will not go with a cocoon dress as hard as you would like to believe Cole Porter singing "Anything Goes". Yves was the perfect blend of Parisian femme and tailored that made him one of the most admired and prolific designers of the last 100 years. He never succumbed to really awful iicensing (his were still tasteful) and he said goodbye to the fashion world with grace of his own accord. And with his intense influence on everyone, you can mix his clothing and accessories with almost anyone else's - even Issey MIyake. A brown leather belt with gold nailheads along the buckle and keeper. Great over a quilted cotton jacket, the buckle is almost 4" high while the belt is is just shy of 1.5" wide. Will fit a 29.5" to 33" waist and is in very good to excellent condition with some darkening of the leather along the keeper and buckle. sold
