Yves Saint Laurent could maneuver from masculine to peasant in the blink of an eye, often including both in one season's collection. His peasant collections remain so special not just because they're gypsy but they're so freaking sophisticated. An emerald, caramel, lavender and black Ikat print made into a quilted cotton jacket with band collar over a gathered wool crepe skirt. Split the pair up and wear the jacket with wide-legged Martin Margiela wrap pants or the skirt with a black Yohji Yamamoto turtleneck and high Olivier Theyskens boots. Trimmed in black cotton webbing and fastens along the placket with domed button and loop closures, the skirt has a wide waistband and fastens on the side with deep hidden pockets at each hip. Bust measures 38", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 22.5" and length 21". Skirt has a 31" waist and is 28" long. Ideally sized for a modern 12, slightly smaller on top. Both are in excellent condition. $605.00
