1960s B.H. Wragge Pink Houndstooth Top and Skirt

not your baby shade of pink The cashmeres of N. Peal are so alluring because they come in such bright colors. While so many people think those honeydew cardigans and cantaloupe jumpers are so great for spring, they're even better in winter when your wardrobe and world need the color most. So go ahead and think like the Easter bunny, saving those pastels for April - we're sporting a rainbow as soon as the first snowflakes start to fall. The same principles of mood and color hold true for B.H. Wragge's two-piece top and skirt in a very hot pink and white houndstooth print in wool crepe. Rendered like a watercolor with deeper areas of pink where the color pools, the effect is more three dimensional than a flat dual color print. A back zip top with Empire waistline that is created with a piped band that ties in the back and has full sleeves that gather at the wrists. Wonderful with pale pink tights and pink pirate boots from the 80s, both pieces are lined in white crepe. Bust measures 35", shoulder to shoulder 15", outer sleeve 22" and length 20". Skirt has a 26" waist 38" hips and is 24" long. Both pieces are in excellent condition. $210.00
