Jewelry is best when bold in our opinion. No wussy little pearls peeking over the top of cotton turtlenecks for us, nooooooooo. We like a necklace that covers half of our chests. Earrings that make your earlobes feel like Buddha's after a couple of hours and bracelets that could shatter a glass-top table if you don't watch it. Napier's chunky gold-filled link bracelet with a heavy treasure chest that opens so you can store a couple of Percoset and a wadded up piece of paper with the hot bartender's phone number. Or maybe where to call a cab company since you'll be too blotto to get yourself home without some serious help. Great details - you can see the grain of the wood and the handles really swing up and down. Closes with a hinged flat clasp, it measures 8" and the treasure chest is 1.25" wide. Excellent condition with the exception of some color loss in the corner of the inside of the chest. sold |
