1960s Tony the Shoemaker Red Patent Wedge

bonnano or gambini Obscure vintage shoemaker names can sound more like Mafia nicknames than real people. Tony the Shoemaker? We're not kidding. Another of those hip New York things, this label made fabulous shoes and boots for the very chic, and very hip, girls in the late 60s and early 70s. And that's because it was a spin-off label designed by Beth Levine of Herbert Levine! An upbeat red patent wedge slip on with red and white painted lattice 2" heels. We love these with a Kors khaki a-lined skirt and layered red and pink Splendid tees. Make you look like a candy cane? Why the hell not? Everyone loves candy canes! Size 6.5AA, they are in excellent condition. $110.00
