1950s Painted Square Umbrella

what a glorious feeling - i'm happy again Wash and wear haircuts not only changed the way we looked as women, but it changed the way we accessorize. Now that you can wash and dry your own hair, it's not a huge deal if you get caught in a sudden downpour. But back in the day when a woman had her hair done once a week, she did whatever it took to preserve the sculpture between appointments. An umbrella was not only ladylike, but mandatory. So you're not going to carry it for completely practical reasons, you're doing it for affectation but how cute will you be? A white nylon background with handpainted pink and green flowers and foliage, it opens into a domed square and has an ivory plastic handle. Excellent condition. sold
