1950s Rosenfeld Navy Suede Demilune Bag

slim navy suede No matter what color is deemed "in" or "out" during any given fashion season, black is always the top colorless color for women's accessories. And while black sandals don't really work with pastel sundresses on 95-degree days and the same shade bag is downright dumb with khaki short shorts and a white wifebeater, you can bet black goes with most everything else. Sorta. We advise to err on the side of caution when telling women who don't own tons of bags (and don't want to) to buy traditional colors but black is a wee bit predictable for all the aforementioned reasons. Navy, on the other hand, is not. And yes girls, navy does go with black - just look at men's clothing; black shoes/navy suit. A sophisticated, slim navy suede bag from Rosenfed in a demilune shape with a single inverted pleat on either side of the front. Suspended from a suede-covered brass frame with exposed 'buttons', the interior is lined in midnight blue silk satin. Measures 10.75" wide by 7" high with a single 6.5" handle. Excellent condition. $180.00
