1960s Roger Van S. Red Piped Suede Bag

the gigi of bags Maybe you're the kind of girl who can watch the evening news without blinking an eye but is appalled at the thought of only owning one handbag. One handbag?! Yes, out there, in the world, are women who only have one handbag. Sad, isn't it? Talk about wardrobe starvation. Don't they know you have to have not only a bag in every color but handhelds, shoulder bags, messengers - a vintage Hermes? It's enough to drive any sane person to Vicodin! Fortunately you can pull yourself out of the pity party and be grateful that you are not one of those women and you have your priorities straight. Phew. You couldn't possibly wear a floaty See by Chloe flower dress and Fendi wedges with a bag that you carry when you wear Hunter wellies. The bag you'd use is the little vintage Roger Van S tobacco suede cutie with red leather piping. Perky, fun but not cheap or cutesy, it has all the youthful charm that Roger bags do. Suspended from a polished gold frame, the interior is lined in cherry red twill with a single zippered pocket. 9.5" wide by 6.5" tall with double 4.25" pigskin handles. Very good to excellent condition with the exception of some light soiling along the outer curves of the bag. sold
