Platforms are the kindest heel of all; you can leap ten feet when the wind blows the ice cream our of your cone (that's some strong wind, huh?) only to realize that ice cream that has fallen out of the cone is not something you're really looking to have back. Or maybe you can still look like a hot milf when your three-year-old son runs out into the street and you need to grab him fast. Sure, you can do that in Pumas but mothers need to feel like they still have a little fashion mojo down in their bag of tricks and sneakers and khakis really don't conjure the magic, ya dig? Give her a slinky black wool Alberta Ferretti dress and some killer vintage platforms and let her know that she can be cool and be ready for an emergency all at the same time. QualiCraft's black platforms with grey piping and heels that come off like an old court shoe with a whole lot of attitude. Not the icky cheap platforms that you find in mall shops aimed at teenaged girls and not the mass-produced modern versions you see in every department store, they have a one off look that we love. High throat with a small split, the toe is round with a fully breasted heel (that means the sole extends over and down the inside of the heel so it doesn't seem like the heel is a separate piece). .5" platform and 4.5" heels, they are size 7.5B. Excellent condition with the exception of a few slightly darker spots along the grey part of the leather heel. sold |
