Debbie Harry was such an unbelievably powerful style icon in the 70s and 80s and while we don't really encourage people to study other people in order to copy them, it almost seems okay to do with Debbie. In fact, we figure if more women were as laid back about clothes, hair and makeup as she was, we'd all be better off. Her Stephen Sprouse/Heart of Glass phase is the pinnacle of early punk fashion for lots of hip women - those asymmetrical satin dresses paired with barely there-slides were sexy but totally uncontrived. Paired with Sprouse's chartreuse satin halter dress and really almost too much makeup, these violet satin slides are perfect. 4.5" heels and made by Realites, they are size 7.5B and in excellent condition. sold |
