1970s Ossie Clark Moss Crepe Pantsuit

sympathy for the devil Ossie Clark was the original bad boy of fashion, not to mention an essential part of vintage rock and roll culture. We figure anybody who was good enough to dress Keith Richards in the late 60s/early 70s is good enough for us. Yeah yeah, Mick was the gorgeous one but Keith was the cool one with snakeskin boots and fringed silk scarves. But Ossie also made unbelievably feminine clothes that gave you the vibe of being gorgeous and well-dressed without seeming like you spent any time on it or were uptight about getting a little messy. There is nothing as unsexy as a woman who is always touching her hair, worried about getting dirty, chipping a nail, losing a button, etc. A fantastic Ossie Clark black moss crepe pantsuit, piped in jade green satin. The placket is scalloped and is meant to show either bare skin or a slinky tank underneath and the pants are slim through the hips with a great kick of a wide ankle. Slit and piped in satin from top of foot to almost knee, this exposes leg as you walk. Gorgeous with giant gold hoops and very high Louboutins - a dab of Frederic Malle Musc Ravageur in the crook of each elbow. Made for Radley, the bust measures 34", shoulder to shoulder 15.5" outer sleeve 23" and length 26". Back zip pants have a 26" waist, 14" rise and 35" inseam. Excellent condition with the exception or some fading along the jade piping around the neckline only. $790.00
