1960s Originala Green Wool Twill Coat

the color of life The color green has its biggest impact in spring, when all of nature renews itself. But to add a little green to your wardrobe is adding new life too. Think about it - how much green do you have in your closet? Probably not too much. Fortunately, fashion has now deemed green the hot new thing so you can pick up lots of great vernal pieces all over the place. Paired with baby blue, yellow, camel and even peach, green is luscious and indeed deserving of its reputation as the color of fertility. Ilie Wacs for Originala's green wool twill double breasted coat with gilded buttons embossed with a lion and crown crest. Decorative horizontal flap pockets over hidden vertical pockets on both sides, the coat is lined in emerald silk satin. Rounded collar and flared hem, the cloth has been cut so the weave ruins diagonally. Bust up to 38", shoulder to shoulder 17", outer sleeve 23" and length 38". Excellent condition with the exception of the lining fading to coppery green toward the hem inside. sold
