Morris Moskowitz sounds much more like the owner of a kosher deli than an accessories label but don't let that stop you. There seem to be more than the fair share of great Jewish designers in our world; Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Roberta di Camerino, Donna Karan, Pauline Trigere, Hattie Carnegie, Isaac Mizrahi, the Marciano brother of Guess Jeans (and you thought they were Italian), Judith Leiber, Anne Klein, Arnold Scaasi, Elie Tahari and Diane Von Furstenberg. Enough? But you can't imagine any of those names sitting behond a counter asking if you want mustard on your corned beef sandwich. Morris Moskowitz? You can. But since that Morris won't be shmearing your bagel, you can find his signature on great vintage bags and belts. A stroke of black suede with serious gilded hardware on the tip, buckle and keeper. Gorgeous with True Religion "Joey" cords and pale blue boybeater top, it is 1.25" wide and will fit a 27.5" to 31" waist. Excellent condition. sold |
