Nobody likes to sing about women with bodies any less smackalicious than Gisele. The Girl From Ipanema does not go "Short and pale and fat and dumpy - the girl from...". It talks about tall. Tan. Long. Lovely. Now look, we're not saying we're sitting over here with legs as long as supple as Gisele's, who has nothing more to do than wake up in the morning to look great. We mere mortal women have to do a little kickboxing and fashion self-styling to come off as fabulous when fabulous may not be the total truth. A little lunge - a little Missoni - that's it. Forget the hideous leggings that can only be black when worn at all and forget the sloppy yoga pant (formerly known as sweatpants - hello!), flattering basics do not have to be ho hum to be part of your everyday routine. You can sport Missoni's very lean but floaty in a way even Rick Owens can't do, signature weave (open like a pointelle knit) pants with a C+C bold tank in black and Marni sandals. Be every bit as luscious as you want without making a huge effort. Effort, we all know, is a serious style killer. Invisible black zip, slim thigh and wide ankle, the color combination is preposterous for anyone but Missoni's red, coral, butterscotch, grey, mustard, black and white. It looks pink on our monitors too but there is no pink there and you really have to have lean thighs for these. Waist measures 28", hips 36", rise 11" and inseam 33.5" Excellent condition. sold |
