Set out on a vintage baker's cabinet, there is nothing quite like buffet style for a dinner party if you have the right serving pieces. We like a mix of vintage pieces with ornate Tiffany ladles and mid-century Arne Jacobsen forks and spoons tucked into spirals of roasted turkey slices and mounds of roasted winter vegetables. To pour a mustard-thyme reduction, almost translucent so you can see the bottom of the dish, a vintage Metlox California Free Form gravy dish. Sitting on a matching liner plate, it is speckled grey pottery with an abstract chartreuse, cocoa and yellow design. Excellent condition. sold |
