1980s Maud Frizon Metallic Leather Over the Knee Boots

not all flat boots are made alike If you're old enough to remember wearing flat over-the-knee boots in the 80s, you'll also remember being embarrassed that you did when they lost their luster of hip trendiness. It didn't matter who made them or how much you paid, they basically went into the trash when the time came. But they're baaaaaaaaaaack and all of a sudden, the cringe you felt before is replaced with a fond reminiscence. Updated with modern clothing (not the skintight miniskirts over bike shorts of yesterday), they're cool again. Or maybe they're still cool and you've come full circle. Maud Frizon's gorgeous metallic pewter and bronze boot with a wide cuff that laces in the crook of the knee. The shaft is pewter and the cuff and foot are bronze, sitting on a oh-so-modern 2.25" wedge heel. Not the cheap flat flats that were so mainstream and not stripper boots either, did you expect anything but chic chic chic from Maud Frizon? Lined in buff leather, these pull on. Size 39 (an American 9), they stand 23" from heel to top and have a 16" leg opening. Excellent condition. $620.00
