Certain accessory houses, like Lucille de Paris (an American outfit) and Loewe (based in Spain and pronounced loo-way-vay) and (on a more affordable level) Manon were into manipulating exotic skins to be a creation that would be like nothing else you had ever seen. This Manon suede reptile bag is scaled like python but each scale is actually like chamois on the outside, with the traditional glossy edges you expect from reptile skin. Gorgeous and unique, the bag looks like it was dusted in cocoa powder. Gilded chain strap with the very top part of the strap in reptile, the interior is lined in dark copper faille. Measures 9" wide by 8" high and 2.75" deep with a single 13.5" strap. Excellent condition with the exception of some darkening along the top of the frame from natural skin oils. $410.00 |
