In our opinion, some designers are good through and through, designing little that was icky. But, uhhh, for a woman who has more minimalist, edgy taste, Lilly Puiltzer can be a wee bit cloying. Sometimes the applique and the flouncy hems are a bit much so we naturally gravitate toward the more straightforward designs. But the good ones are always really good, embodying summer barbecues and fireworks on some East Coast pier like nothing else. Done right, Lilly is pure sunshine. Paired with skinny skinny white pedal pushers, this cotton lisle polo is beachy keen. The same fabric you find in those little socks that girls wear - cotton, thin, a little stretchy - it is navy on green with owls, sunflowers, fish, the sun and lions in bright grassy green. Buttons at the placket with four little pearlized buttons and again at each barrel cuff with two. Bust measures up to 38", shoulder to shoulder 15.5", outer sleeve 22" and length 23".
