1970s Lilly Pulitzer Fern Print Halter Dress

embodying sunshine Lilly Pulitzer was one of those designers who knew exactly what she could do and did it well. She never tried to move into winter collections because everyone knows you can't do a Lilly Pulitzer print in January. The vintage prints (the modern ones are too matchy matchy/country club for us) are tactile versions of ripe peach juice and the smell of Clarins tanning oil by a friend's pool. A charming maidenhair fern print halter dress in her signature Palm Beach palette of flamingo pink, grass green and sky blue. Flanged Empire waist and a big fat ruffle at the neckline and hem, it ties at the nape of the neck. Super cute with Accessoire Diffusion pink wedge sandals and a ruffled voile laundry bag as a purse, it is lined in hot pink cotton at the bust only, it is made of cotton synthetic blend. Bust 34", ribcage under boobs 27" and length 44". Excellent condition. $210.00
