It should be no news to you that Koos van den Akker was the king of collage. We're not talking West Virginia patchwork here either, we mean a true collage. Sort of what great quilters do so well - knowiing what to put with what, how much, where, etc. Koos' sheer synthetic georgette blouse with a fantastic silhouette so great to wear with high-waisted trousers or a flared skirt. Sleeves of dotted plum and lilac with a straight yoke in front of black floral georgette echoed in back with a longer dip to the waist, punctuated with metallic gold thread. Each panel is outlined in narrow black ribbon - just charming. Smocked elastic waist and full sleeves with gathered wrists, it ties at the nape of the neck. The label is in the back but this can be worn either way, with a henley neck in front or tie at the back. Bust measures 36", shoulder to shoulder 15", outer sleeve 25" and length 21".
