You can always bet that when you wear Jean Muir, you will never be overshadowed by a dress. This British designer was known for soft lines - there is never snything hard or severe about her work, even when she works in leather. A brilliant, pale apricot chiffon dress with a smocked collar that stands away from the neck like a hazy ring. Printed with green dotted starbursts and red dots, the blouson sleeves gather well above the elbow to turn out in a little flounce. Absolutely sheer, this has all the radiant glow of a dewy nymph and shows you that sexy is not always about showing bare skin. Belts with a matching silk chiffon sash, topstitched in green and fastens at the nape of the neck with three lingerie hooks. Depending on where you wear this, we kind of like the thought of it over bare, tanned skin with a little Cosabella thong and flat gladiator sandals but it most likely will end up over a pale pistachio silk crepe slip with very high bright lime satin Moschino sandals. The .25" hem adds a tiny bit of weight to the angelic chiffon so it undulates in waves around your legs. Because of the intended voluminous silhouette, measurements don't make sense.
