And the prize for the TKO is an Irene suit in black silk bengaline that is a feat of perfection. With an attached cummerbund and high collarless neckline, we adore this with a gilded Marni choker and Rupert Sanderson satin heels. The jacket actually buttons under the cummerbund with four tiny covered buttons and then again with one larger button on the outside. Turnback cropped sleeve for more jewelry display at the wrist, details abound from the split nape to the decidedly straight skirt (with a discreet pocket over each hipbone) that insists you walk with petite steps. Understated. Sophisticated. Tasteful and quietly luxe, this is perhaps one of the best suits we have ever had. Lined in pale pink silk crepe, the bust measures 34", shoulder to shoulder 15.5", waist 26", outer sleeve 20" and length 25". Skirt has a 25" waist, 36" hips and is 27" long.
