1980s Halston Silver Sequinned Silk Sheath

the belly of the beast With the exception of Norman Norell, sequins were never as understated as when done by Halston. One of his signature pieces, this pale pale grey silk georgette floor-length sheath is sequinned with silver spangles and bordered in mercury glass bugle beads. Sort of tribal around the edges, the symmetrical pattern of the sequins is like the underbelly of a tiger. The silk is slightly sheer and the hint of flesh filtering through the unbeaded areas is sexy - and strategic. The tiger pattern covers the nipples and the pubic area so we heartily recommend you go buck naked under this. Stunning with the most minimal of accessories; a slick of 'Triple XXX" Nars lip gloss, plaited hair that is smoothed off of the face and stainless steel-heeled champagne satin Rodolphe Menudier stilettos. Bust measures 34", shoulder to shoulder 15.5", outer sleeve 23", hips 36" and length 58.5". Excellent condition. $1450.00
