1970s Tan Giudicelli Fuchsia Flannel Pants and Capelet

holy blooming orchids Tan who? Tan Giudicelli, duh. Designer for the oh-so-fabulous Mic Mac in the 1970s and unbelievably easy on the eyes. One of the very first stylists to branch into actual design, Tan has worked for Dior in the YSL days, Hermes more recently and himself with Herve Leger as an assistant in the late 70s. With a most prescient seamless approach to design that would lead him naturally to seamless Hermes, this pink wool suit is simply a pair or flawlessly constructed pants with a high waist and stovepipe leg with a sexy slimness through the hip. The makeshift jacket is a cropped capelet with self ties at the hollow of the throat and tiny, but deep, pockets. Flawless with so many colors - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE promise you will not wear this with black boots. Capelet is 26" at its longest. Back zip pants have a V yoke in front and silk-lined waistband. Waist 29", hips 37", rise 11" and inseam 31.5". Excellent condition. $590.00
