These lovely pearl beaded bags are wonderful vintage staples and you see them all across the board from auctions to fairs to high-end shops. But what differs is the condition - a lot of them are stained and when you're looking at pale handbags, imperfections are absolutely unacceptable. Ivory printed tulle with tiny pink rosebuds completey overbeaded with opaque faux pearls and clear beads over the flowers so they show through the little bubbles. Always charming with a pale shirtwaist with full skirt, this was made by Grandeé Bead. Suspended from a curved gilt frame, the handle is also beaded with faux pearls. Lined in ivory faille, it measures 10" wide by 7" high with a single 5.5" handle. Excellent condition - a super cute bag. $115.00 |
