There are tube tops (even Martin Margiela made 'em) and there are miniskirts but only the carefree genius of Giorgio di Sant'Angelo would see to it that you could have one piece that could do both. The only other designer who comes even close to doing this is Norma Kamali but hers come off like bathing suits instead of legitimate separates. A ruched wine tube of stretch matte tulle over jersey to wear as a top with a full Antonio Marras skirt or as a skirt with a drapey Maria Cornejo top. Even better, as a wide midriff layer over an APC sundress. If you're really lucky, you can get a few in different colors and bunch them together in stripes.
