Giorgio di Sant'Angelo's real strength lied in his use of strong color, pairing odd combinations like khaki with pink in much the same ways that Rudi Gernreich had done with his trompe l'oeil knits. True to form, even his swimsuits for Sinclair have that joie de coleur. Granny Smith apple green, ocean blue and baby blue lycra banded in swaths of watery hue with a tiny strap that is attached right at the middle center to tie around the back of your neck. This is gorgeous on women who are naturally small on top with wide hips, accentuating that exisiting line to make it even sexier. Gorgeous with high yellow Charles Jourdan sandals, you will be a walking Guy Bourdin photo and that is always a beautiful thing.
