1980s Giorgio di Sant'Angelo Printed Suede Coat

giorgio and the uncommon outer layer We get a lot of e-mail asking about modern Giorgio clothing and we have to politely respond but what we really want to say is "Are you nuts? Giorgio had nothing to do with that stuff you call clothing!". Sorry, we can't help with the request for stretch-waist wool pants with zippers but if you ever decide to come out of your waking coma, call us for some stuff that was actually designed by the real Giorgio di Sant'Angelo. You know what else is funny? Nobody takes credit for that new stuff - it's a big mystery who comes up with that line and probably for good reason. Maybe it's like graduating from Juilliard and getting a job singing "Burger King" jingles - you keep it on the down low. A printed suede coat with gathered yoke and full leg o'mutton sleeves, lined in silk foulard. Stand-up band collar with covered suede snap closures and pockets, the print is an abstract pattern in deep cranberry, plum and green on coffee suede. A dramatic coat that has a strong shoulder, even though it has no shoulder pads, it is Giorgio's distinctive take on the trench and is as different as you would expect with this label. Bust 40", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 25" and length 52". Excellent condition. $625.00
