1960s Ginala Hot Pink Suit

shocking pink American women go at a fashion magazine much differently than a British woman does. Those of us who live in the States like to copy outfits we see in magazines instead of reading them for inspiration. But why does it have to be that way? Why can't we look at Vogue and think, "Wow, that Marc Jacobs coat and dress looks smashing - I'm going to wear orange and cornflower blue together!" instead of becoming depressed over the fact that the skirt you love costs 850? If nothing else, fashion mags can inspire you to deviate from your usual wardrobe of black on black and step into a world of color that fills the pages each month. Ginala's pink suit is more than just a start on your new road, it's the goal. Bright shocking pink heavy wool and linen blend has been cut into a boxy jacket over perky a-line skirt. The jacket closes at the front of the waist with two gold buttons on a little chain that go through buttonholes. Gorgeous with a lemon yellow cashmere polo sweater and high yellow Miu Miu boots, the suit is lined entirely in bubble gum pink synthetic crepe. Bust measures 36", shoulder to shoulder 15", outer sleeve 21.5" and length 18.5". Skirt has a 25" waist 37" hips and is 20" long. Both are in excellent condition with but the lining has some light spots here and there and is crinkled. sold
