While Santa Claus is out delivering wholesome goodies to boys and girls everywhere, we like to think Mrs. Claus is sitting in the Milk Bar from "A Clockwork Orange", illuminated by blue neon light and drinking some potable Molotov cocktail in her mod suit. More Finnish printed cotton, this time in a stylized flame design with licks of orange running through the crimson, like veins. The safari-inspired jacket and flare legged slim pants are just what you get when you cross Yves Saint Laurent with Marimekko. An attached belt ends in two polished silver snaps in front, as do the wrist "belts", and the zipper pull is like a little sculpture itself. Made by Merry Finn, the jacket is lined in cherry rayon satin and has a bust of 35", shoulder to shoulder 15", outer sleeve 20.5" and length 24.5". High waisted pants have a 24" waist and 28.5" inseam, with an unfinished hem. Flawless unworn condition. sold |
