Boots are the stuff that cool weather is made of. We don't care what sort of leather jacket you've found for yourself (shop at Old Navy if you dare!) but there is no substitute for a great pair of beautifully made boots. It's the woman who has her style stuff together that knows your look hinges on the accessories. How many attractive women have you seen in a great dress with cheap Chinese Laundry shoes, carrying an uninspired Kate Spade bag and thought to yourself, "What a freaking shame - she almost had it."? Same woman in a pair of vintage Levi's, a tight white Fruit of the Loom t from Target and 1600-dollar Roberto Cavalli boots - now you're talking our language! Just to keep it real, let's make that a pair of Marc creased jeans, a Martin Margiela ring-collar halter and vintage Jerry Edouard embroidered boots with colored beads. Brown suede is covered with multicolored pastel flowers and vines, dotted with tiny beads. Mostly speed-lacing up the shaft, they have a 3.25" stacked wooden heel and were made in Greece. Just absolutely unbelievable, the thing that makes them better than the Dolce and Gabbana boots is that the girl who asks you where you got them can't go out and buy the same pair ten minutes later.
