A bright printed caftan for the kind of girl who doesn't feel she has to show off her body in clothes that fit like Saran Wrap all the time. Sure, it's swell to see how well you do with your Hatha yoga but look back on the past few decades and you will see that the most influential style icons all were t-h-i-n sans spandex. Paired with freaky-high Biba platform sandals and vintage David Webb panther bangles on one arm, this Thai version is so not hippie-ish. Almost Disney-esque elephants decked out in Indian adornment in sky blue, wine, grass green, yellow and magenta with a band collar and zipper that closes along the upper back. Tiny armholes, we hope that alone proves that caftans are not only for the Food Network-obsessed among us. Label reads "Design Thai - Bangkok" and another with the "Stix Baer and Fuller" name (well known to vintage St. Louisans), it is 53" long. Excellent, if not flawless, condition. sold |
