1970s East West Musical Instruments Suede Flares

rock and roll To say there is no difference between a pair of Joe's Jeans and Land's End jeans is like saying Twinkies should be served at Le Cirque. Pants can be flattering in all incarnations but usually the cheaper they are, the more dowdy the fit. For leather, suede and denim, the ideal look is long and lean and you want them to fit you -without smushing you flat- from waist to knee and then swing out in a gentle flare to balance your sexy curves on top. East West Musical Instruments of San Francisco clothed the rock and roll royalty of the late 60s and 70s including Carlos Santana so they come with tons of stylish credibility. Slim though the hip with wide belt loops and pockets that sit a little low on your butt, they are built just like five pocket jeans without the little extra coin pocket in front. Slim through the thigh, they flare a little but not so much they look stupid. Dark brown hacking suede is still slightly textured and substantial enough to wear hard and not tear, these are fantastic with a tiny American Apparel raglan tee and high snakeskin boots. Waist measures 27", hips 34" and inseam 31". Excellent condition. $430.00
