1970s Oscar de la Renta Wool Challis Skirt and Blouse

our collective childhood If you take something romantic and sweet and juxtapose it against rock and roll accessories, you get a very interesting mix. The always feminine de la Renta designed this pleated wool challis skirt and Morning Glory print blouse in the 70s and probably had a more subdued shoe in mind, but we don't. A death-defying black stiletto boot, bordering on fetish, and a vintage Gucci choker would be sexy accoutrements that anyone would hardly expect to see with this. You can also do flat suede boots and look smashing. The collarless blouse is full blooming in shades of apricot and pink with green foliage on a black background. The design is echoed across the hem of the skirt, which is lined entirely in black silk crepe. Bust measures 36", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 25" and length 27". Skirt has a 25" waist and is 32" long. Both are in excellent condition. $190.00
