Glam rock bands have their teased and sprayed mullets to distinguish them from other folks just like bikers have their uniform of jeans, Harley tee and black leather jacket (sometimes vest) to show they are a bonafide member of their chosen cultural club. Architects also have their own style to silently identify them to fellow constituents. Look at Le Corbusier - Philip Johnson. Ray-Ban certainly did. Dubbed the "Pasha", these perfectly round black acetate frames have smoke grey plastic lenses. Slightly more eccentric than the classic Jackie O frames, it makes you want to bust out the blueprints and feign shameless creativity. 6" wide and 2.25" high with 5.5" arms, they are in excellent condition. sold |
