1960s Bonnie Cashin Suede Eyelet Suit

sacajawea meets new york Leave it to Bonnie Cashin to make a suit that is so positively unsuitlike that you almost can't think of it as such. As easy as a dress (over the head and go) and as comfy as a Malo cardigan and Donna Karan skirt, Bonnie's mushroom suede version is trimmed in eyelet and pinked edging. Flared at the hem of the jacket and the skirt, the jacket closes with a row or tiny mother of pearl snaps. Yoked around the back with Bonnie's draping along the seam, there are ivory-stitched demilune pockets on both sides. Lined entirely in mushroom crepe, we love it with a shocking orange wool Margiela baseball tee and brown Rachel Comey boots. Made for Sills and also bearing a Swanson's on the Plaza, Kansas City tag. Bust measures 38", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 23.5" and length 26". Skirt has a 25" waist, 36" hips and is 21" long. Both are in excellent condition with the exception of some very light soiling at both pocket entries. $525.00
