Most desert island scenarios don't involve clothing because who the hell needs a coat in Fiji? But if your island is urban, you can't be caught out there looking like some haggard lunatic. Our number one "must have" is always going to be a Bonnie Cashin coat or jacket. They're smart, the colors are gaw-jess and they pair with everything from Marni dresses to Stitch's jeans. A deep grape leather coat with four pockets to hold everything you need without having to have a purse too (think Carine Roitfeld) for Sills. The purple version of this coat, we'd take it in every and any color. Lined entirely in purple crepe, the bust measures up to 40", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 22" and total length 40.5".
