1960s Bonnie Cashin Elongated Leather "Glove" Bag

to echo the lines of long gloves Sometimes it seems that Bonnie Cashin was unbearably biased against tall women. For anyone over 5'6" who has long lusted after a vintage Cashin coat, it seems that the sleeves are always too short. Well, that's sort of true and sort of not. Bonnie was fond of a slightly cropped sleeve and designed wonerful gloves for Crescendoe to wear with her three quarter sleeved coats. A pair of pale pistachio leather gloves with a baby blue boucle coat at night is just the look you want when you have a Bonnie Cashin elongated "glove" bag for Coach. Created to balance the glove/sleeve thing, her slim bags are thoroughly graceful. This time in pale beige leather with a thin gilded chain handle and gilded frame, the interior is lined in signature striped Mexican cotton. To be carried alone or layered with another bag, we suggest a gilded mesh Whiting and Davis purse held in the same hand. Measures 5.5" wide by 11.25" high with a single 6" handle, it is in excellent condition. $320.00
