We don't believe in freely sharing our expertise with just anyone but we gotta make one thing clear - Coach bags with creeds and serial numbers cannot be considered vintage Bonnie Cashin bags. Cashin era bags have little metal plaques that either say Coach in white all capital letters or have little signature Bonnie Cashin metal tags. They do not have serial numbers REPEAT, they do not have serial numbers. Technically they may be Bonnie Cashin designs but really, they're the wrong vintage. That said, shall we move along? Thank you. One of the most coveted of all Ms. Cashin's designs, the rectangular satchel with opposing pockets is perhaps one of the most distinctive, and usable, of all her bags. Chunky and hip, it is lined in Mexican striped cotton and zips across the top with a black leather pull. Still edgy after all these years, the top of the bag slouches down but the bottom is rigid because it is backed with stiff board under the lining. Cut out handles, the bad boy measures 12" wide by 5" high and 6.25" deep with double 4" handles. Condition is excellent although plating is mostly gone, as is typical of these bags in anything less than deadstock condition, and there are superficial scuffs. One side pocket also does not click as tightly as the other. sold |
