Bonnie Cashin found inspiration in the most exotic and natural things, from bird's nests to noragi. So progressive was her vision that many many many - if not all - of her designs are completely modern today. In turn, Cashin inspires contemporary designers from Martin Margiela to Marc Jacobs. Always a little rugged, a little polished and a little strange in comparison to the Lucille de Paris or Koret bags of their day, we have loved, do love and always will love Bonnie's work. A petite tote that shows almost no hardware at all of navy blue leather for Coach. Similar to her most iconic bag with the open compartment, this one too is flanked by two slim pockets with a snap closure pocket sandwiched in the middle. Lined in Mexican striped cotton, it measures 7" wide by 13.5" tall with double straps that do fit over the shoulder - rare for a bag this size. Made for Coach, it is in excellent condition. sold |
