1970s Pierre Cardin Honeycomb Velour Clutch

ooh, a clutch There are vintage truffle molds in the shape of lollipops, stars, fish, you name it but did you know that there was one secret candy mold in the shape of a clutch? Oh yes, the Oompa Loompas carefully tempered their special Wonka chocolate and entered into an exclusive arrangement with Pierre Cardin. There, behind the huge iron gates of the candy factory, they poured out clutch bags of milk chocolate, dusting it in Valrhona semisweet cocoa powder, finishing each with a gilded dragee in the shape of the Cardin logo. Inside, they lined the chocolate with malted milk hued canvas and rushed them out, in the darkness of night, to fabulous babes with golden tickets that looked a lot like American Express gold cards. Little Charlene Bucket carefully hoarded hers away until now but she doesn't mind sharing, which is so rare for a woman who loves clothing. Honeycomb printed velour clutch is wafer thin (maybe more like one layer of a Kit Kat) and measures 14" across by 7.5" high in excellent condition and you have to swear you won't tell anyone where you got it or you can never have another piece of candy! Sounds fine now until you have PMS and that piece of candy is going to be looking pretty damn good. $95.00
