1960s Bright Paisley Velvet Handbag

utterly retro There is nothing that can conjure a decade past better than color. Think of an "avocado and harvest gold" kitchen. A pink Princess telephone or velvet paisley in impossible color combinations. Maybe it was all the LSD but the 60s and very early 70s were spinning hypnotic pinwheels of Indian inspired purples, greens and pinks. Paisey really does represent the psychedelic sixties the best. A bold paisley bag in teal, emerald, fuchsia and grape on a white background. Opens to reveal two black grosgrain compartments with two interior patch pockets, it closes with a foldover tab and turnlock closure. Chunky gilded chain and patent handles all scream Jana but the bag remains unmarked. 9" wide by 6.25" high and 2.5" deep with double 6" handles. Very good condition - the velvet has some faint stains and dirt. We deem it great for an evening bag but day will highlight its potential flaws. $70.00
