1960s Silk Floral Bridal Wreath

daddy is walkin you down the aisle

enoki seal of approval

Veils are obviously traditional fare for wedding outfits but the symbolism behind them is pretty ridiculous. Like he's seeing you for the first time? Ha! This isn't 15th century China where you're marrying a man from the next village that you have never seen - you've been living with your fiancee for years now and he's seen a lot more than your face, okay? So we love the idea of tiny silk rosebuds encircling your hair with no veil. With a vintage Anne Fogarty wedding dress (she made amazing ones) or modern Vera Wang, this would look cute on just about anybody. Feminine, simple and clean. A wreath of tiny white flowers, tinged with lavender and baby blue, twining around a green organza wrapped "halo" with tiny leaves. 23" around so it will fit over a more complicated hairdo or sit nicely over smooth hair. Flawless condition in the original printed round hatbox (which is also cool) from Stix, Baer and Fuller. sold
