Bottega Veneta has always been a very clever company. Starting with their 1970's ad campaign, "When your own initials are enough" to the way they stick with their signature woven leather, Bottega has never waivered from their initial vision and we love that about them. The only slight deviation they ever took was printing their bags with signature butterflies for a spell but deviation might even be too harsh a word - let's go with foray. In the context of fashion though, Bottega remains true blue in a world where trends move faster than the wind and you can never fall too in love with something because the company will go and stop making the dang thing. A supple plasticized canvas, which feels like extremely flexible patent leather and shines as much, printed with ruby and emerald butterflies in flight. Hangs low at the hip and is great alone or as a layering bag with a handheld Michael Kors bag below it. Lined in blue nylon with one interior zip pocket, it measures 8" wide by 5.5" high with an adjustable 26" blue leather strap. sold |
