When Ennio Capasa does a plum velvet jacket for Costume National, he probably never bets on a woman piercing the lapel with a sterling pin from the 40s - which is the reason why you should do it. Not that we don't love Ennio's vision, it is just that it's unexpected and that is never a bad thing. Leaves and flowers tied together with a "bow", it has cobalt flowers with a single cultured pearl. Safety clasp on back, it is stamped sterling and measures 3" high by about 2.25" wide and is in excellent condition. sold |
