There are very few occasions when a woman can stylishly borrow from her honey's closet and not look dumpy. A button-down shirt, okay. Maybe even a cashmere sweater but coat or shoes are best left to designers who design for, uhhh, women. Beth Levine, designing wife from the Herbert Levine label, created her own line of shoes called "Beth's Bootery". A little more youthful and not as cutting edge as earlier Levine shoes often are, they still hold their fashionable smarts after thirty years. Cream patent leather gladiator sandals that are much more Barbarella than Spartacus, they have straps that come up over the ankle and a perky 2.5" heel. Size 8M, they are in excellent condition. sold |
