Beged-Or in Hebrew means 'leather clothing' and that is exactly what Beged-Or made. With such celebrities as Calvin Klein working for them in the early 70s, some of the best vintage leather outside of Michael Hoban's will bear the Beged-Or label. Now, despite cut or label, what makes a leather or suede coat so great is the quality of the skin and this bad boy is thinner and softer than silk but is in absolutely stunning condition. A classic trench cut lean all over, it is absolutely amazing over tight white jeans and a cropped white short sleeved tee with topstitched Hogan moccasins in buff suede and no socks. Belted wrists, buttoned pocket flaps and reinforced shoulders with a beige crepe lining, it was made in Israel. A central back vent for movement, this fastens inside with a hidden button and again at the throat, it basically stays closed with the belt but you can leave the top open when the weather is warmer. Bust measures 36", shoulder to shoulder 16", outer sleeve 22" and length 44". Flawless condition with original price and hangtags. $505.00 |
