1970s Adolfo Pink Boucle Suit

not your wallflower The only person who will not be fooled by this is the woman who owns a real Chanel suit or savvy vintage shop owners. In most cases, everyone is thinking you're wearing some sort of Chanel/St. John hybrid because you kind of are. Adolfo made great knits that were supposed to capture some of the Chanel market in the 60s and 70s without the exorbitant price tag. The same holds true for today. A pink wool blend knit that is far more forgiving than a St. John to wear with strands and strands of fake pearls and gold. Bubble gum bright with red, black, grey and white yarns, it has an adorable scalloped placket and fastens with a row of black textured buttons. Elasticized skirt with a below-the-knee hem also trimmed in scallops, sometimes what you really want is a bright color to have some fun. Bust measures 40, shoulder to shoulder 15.5", outer sleeve 24.5" and length 30". Skirt has a 28" to 30" waist, 38" hips and is 26" long. Both are in excellent condition. $310.00
